Katleen Dethier
For the past 4 years Katleen has been working as Vice President of Kesyoni, Inc. Katleen has over eight years of experience improving organizational marketing, sales, creativity and innovation. Katleen has also worked with numerous companies using newly developed consumer research techniques that have led to the discovery of new product opportunities and business models through the deep understanding of consumer’s aspirations and the problems they face. Prior to starting Kesyoni, Katleen worked with the organization formerly known as Creativity & Innovation Center – Europe (CIC-Europe), located in Belgium, as a Project Manager. During the time Katleen was there, she worked on and led many initiatives that included consumer research training and consulting services. Her role demanded project coordination, client management, marketing strategies development and execution, customer need evaluation and analysis, product usage and campaign results evaluation and analysis, facilitation corporate innovation programs. Katleen’s background is in Marketing and Psychology. She received her degree at the Katholieke Hogeschool Limburg in Belgium. Katleen has made a number of presentations at international conferences in the United States, Canada and Europe, including the American Creativity Association (ACA) and the internatinal Ethnographic Praxis in Industry Conference (EPIC). Katleen is a certified Creative Problem Solving Trainer, Graphic Facilitator and has qualifications in several psychometric instruments focused on personality, style and organizational climate.

Kenneth J. Lauer
For over 20 years Ken has been a practitioner of creativity and innovation in organizational settings. Grounded in qualitative and quantitative research, Ken’s work has produced many analytic tools including the Product Personality Indicator (PPI). Most recently Ken has been working as the Senior Research & Market Analyst for International Masters Publishers’ (IMP) Global Research Group where he leveraging his talents to develop new consumer research techniques that have led to the discovery of new product opportunities and business models through the understanding of consumers aspirations and the problems they have in obtaining them. Ken helped found Kesyoni in 1994.

Russ C. Ward
Russ is currently the President of Problemcentrics, Inc. where he has spent the last 12 years understanding industry best practice in the realm of Innovation and implementing this understanding by facilitating teams solely aimed at the development of new product and services. During this period Russ has developed several new research and analysis processes that are uniquely focused on deeply understanding and solving consumer problems. Most recently Russ has been working as the Global Development Director for International Masters Publishers’ (IMP) leveraging his experience to establish fresh and viable new business models relating to self publishing for the company. Prior to his work at IMP, Russ worked for GE Health Care where he most recently held the position of Global Product Manager for Clinical Decision Support. This role focused on the development of software and hardware applications that enhance the ability of clinicians to make patient treatment decisions sooner with greater clarity while reducing stress and fatigue. This role has resulted in new human cognition technology development for GE Medical Systems. Russ is a Certified Creative Problem Solving Facilitator/Trainer, Graphic Facilitator, Team Performance Facilitator, Neuro-Linguistic Programming Practioner and is trained in Design For Six Sigma innovation (DFSSi).

Alexandra V. Lauer
Alex as she prefers to be called is primarily involved in our web usability work. She has also developed the foundation of this site and provides copy editing services. She is currently enrolled at Wells College and planning on spending the Fall 2009 semester in Scotland doing her English and education studies there before finishing her degree in 2011.
